A new U of A poll shows Arkansans opposing Initiated Act 1 (see previous blog post) by a 55-38 margin. Wow. An almost victory for children! The lottery amendment would be approved by 65% if the election were held today. Wow. An almost victory for gambling interests.
The Arkansas Family Council, which has made a decent living for years skimming money from homophobic church folk and out-of-state gambling operations, is 0 for 2 in this poll.
