I fell asleep last night waiting on the O J Simpson verdict. Even in the middle of the night, once the jury had reached a verdict, all parties were summoned back to court to hear the verdict. It struck me as strange, but it was Vegas.
Thirteen years to the day after being acquitted of murder charges, OJ was found guilty of enough kidnapping and robbery charges to jail him for the rest of his life.
I didn’t spend nary a second watching the gavel-to-gavel coverage on CNN’s Headline News, as there were at least 700,000,000,000 other more pressing matters. This morning, for one final time, I uttered to myself, “Go OJ…Go."
