VP Debate: Biden

Senator Joe Biden won the VP debate impressively. Governor Sarah Palin proved to be a quick study (at memorizing flash cards) and confident, yet still woefully unqualified. I believe the air-headed comments given to Couric in the days leading up to the debate were calculated to drastically lower expectations. CBS News was used yet again. I don't expect Palin will be allowed to give interviews for the rest of the month, but will be at rallies with Senator McCain and strictly on the teleprompter.

If House Republicans once again vote against the bailout bill, McCain's campaign is dead. On life-support now with a month to go, McCain's campaign is about to go negative big time and quickly, as early voting begins shortly.

A medical professional friend of ours told Michael and me yesterday that McCain suffers from war-related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, a condition with no cure. If temperament is to become an issue, as some have suggested, it will probably arise in the next two weeks as the final debates are held and McCain tries to mount a last minute comeback.
